Guiding Hand Senior Placement Services specializes in the placement of seniors in the Sacramento and surrounding area. We are local and therefore can get out to see communities and interact with caretakers. Our intimate knowledge and relationships gives us an advantage over national placement services.
We are able to provide this service free of charge to seniors and their families. It is our pleasure to be a part of the process that helps families find the best living environment for their loved ones. This can be a very overwhelming time for families and their senior. Let Guiding Hand Senior Placement Services be there for you to help answer questions, provide a range of living options, assist with paperwork, negotiate costs and give support.
The path of becoming a senior placement advisor came after I navigated finding a memory care facility for my mother who had been diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. I attempted this process on my own and then, after the placement ended up not working out, I obtained the service of a senior placement advisor.
Obtaining an advisor made a huge difference! I was exposed to a variety of living facilities that I wasn't even aware existed when I tried to place my mother on my own. It was such a positive experience, I knew that I wanted to build a career where I could give this type of service to others who are going through a similar situation.
I love meeting seniors, their families and working with facility staff. I understand the anxiety and concern of trying to find just the right place. This is so much more than a career for me. This is my passion and brings me great fulfillment. You don't have to find placement for your loved one on your own. I am happy to assist you.
There are many options in senior living. Let us help find what's right for you.
This photo was taken at the Walk to End Alzheimer's event in Sacramento in the fall of 2016. The special lady in between my brother and me is our mom, Lisa. She has been through so much in the past few years. Through it all, it has been a comfort having her placed in a loving and attentive environment. Knowing that she is well cared for when we are not around has brought much peace through a challenging time of transition and concern.
